Commonly Asked Questions
Do you charge a travel fee?
Yes, unfortunately with gas prices, we have to charge a travel fee. We travel up to 2 hours from Eagle Mountain.
Do I need to worry about them going to the bathroom?
Most likely, the answer is no. Alpacas are "naturally potty trained." Meaning, they have a communal potty spot in their yard at home. They prefer to go at that spot. However, they are animals, so accidents can occur. We know the signs and will take them to a spot for privacy to go.
Can we photograph at your home?
Unfortunately, at this time, we do not offer photoshoots at our location. We are under construction, getting it photoshoot ready.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Absolutely! So long as there is not an event after yours, we are more than happy to extend your time. We do not go more than two hours, however. Macaroni & Cheese get antsy to go home to potty.
Do alpacas travel easily?
Yes! They have been trained to load in and out of our minivan. When we travel, they lay down and enjoy the ride.
Can we do a session with just our little kids?
We hand the ropes to the subject of the photos. Children are not able to handle the alpacas properly, unfortunately. For the safety of everyone involved, we need an adult to be in the photos with children 10 and under.
Do alpacas spit?
Macaroni & Cheese have spit, but only at each other or in the air during bedtime snack time.
Do you offer birthday party rentals?
We do, for ages 10+. For the mental health and safety of our animals, we prefer to do older birthday parties. Please contact us for pricing.
Can you give me a location to photograph with them?
Please ask your photographer, as that is their job to location scout. They can work with what you have in mind.
Can we have our pets around them?
Alpacas are prone to dog attacks and Mac & Cheese get too distracted when other animals are around. We ask no other pets are around during your time with the Pasta Bros.
How long can I rent them for?
We like to keep our rentals to 2 hours max. They get antsy around the two hour mark to go home to go potty.
I don't see what I want to do with them listed, can I contact you about it?
Absolutely! We have done so many incredible things with the Pasta Bros. Music videos, news segments, charities, parties, nativities, etc. We are always open to chat about what you have in mind!
Do you know what wedding venues they are allowed to be at?
We have been given permission to be at several wedding venues. Please confirm with your venue that alpacas are allowed. If you need help with what to say, we are more than happy to give you information to help you persuade them to allow us to be there on the best day of your life.
Can I book them for mini sessions?
I'm so sorry, we no longer offer mini sessions with our alpacas. Macaroni and Cheese like spending more than a few minutes with people, so we now only book full sessions with them.
